The General's Dog (War for American Independence)
In Pennsylvania and on the year 1777, a British general (General Howe) had lost his dog during the battle and the dog was found by a group of American soldiers who wanted to keep the dog as some sort of a prank.
But, the American general Washington disagreed with the soldiers and sent the British dog back to Howe with a lovely note attached.
